Hey everyone, sorry for the gap in posts. Life happens to all of us.
The Los Angeles Rams recently completed a one-year contract extension with veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford worth $55 million in new money. The contract includes a few interesting provisions, such as a poison pill and a retirement gift.
This was a clean, structured contract that includes a perfect exit in March 2028 using a Post-June 1 pathway. The remaining dead money is easily manageable in 2029 and 2030. Another round of kudos to Les Snead, GM of the Los Angeles Rams.
