Hey everyone, I am excited to test out the Thread portion of Substack. My goal for this thread is to offer a place for my readers to discuss the preseason game between the Texans and the Rams. We can also cover other questions you may have. I’ll be on throughout the day today (Friday 8/19) through this evening for the late game.
Any specific players you want to see tonight? For me...obviously is Davis Mills. But beyond that I want to see Kenyon Green get some playing time, even if it is with the 2s. Jon Greenard, Nico Collins, and Ross Blacklock are others I am keeping an eye on tonight.
I was hoping to see Kenyon but I understand why he is being held out again this week. I would like to see Stingley some, Mills, Collins, and Pierce again. I’m also curious to see if some of those young defensive linemen have good games again.

The DL depth is also very intriguing to me.

No Tunsil, Howard, K Green, or Britt. So four potential OL started out.
It definitely shows. I don’t think Mills should play anymore with the backups. No reason to risk him getting injured.

Offense has been on schedule a number of times tonight. Mills just has not taken advantage that.
