Happy New Year to everyone! 2023 was a fantastic year for the Cap & Trade Newsletter and I look forward to 2024 and beyond. I truly appreciate all of the support along the way.
November of 2021 was when the decision was made to dive back into this newsletter. The Houston Texans organization was down in the dumps at many levels. Covering the team sometimes was difficult.
With a heavy dose of audio and video with the transition to the written form, the growth of the newsletter has been fantastic. The organization is now on the path to success and is back in the national media discussions every day.
There are still a few weeks left of the 2023 season for the Houston Texans (maybe more…?). Coverage of the team will continue here on Cap & Trade.
As with past offseasons, the newsletter will transition back to a league-wide lens heading towards free agency and the draft.
Another exciting piece of news is the addition of a new contributor here on Cap & Trade! Mr. Daniel Salib (Daniel on X) will start contributing articles and insight to the newsletter. Daniel is currently in law school and will publish articles here as his schedule allows. I look forward to all of you reading this work.
I have established a new goal for the newsletter for 2024. I’ve added a new logo for the website and a new watermark as well.
Again, thank you for the support and your continued reading of the newsletter. Big things are ahead!
Houston Texans received the Saturday night primetime slot for their Week 18 match-up against the Indianapolis Colts! Win and the team is in the playoffs. Exciting times are ahead for the organization.
